Start the year off right while indulging in a decadent dinner on New Year's Eve.

In this private chef experience, Chef Chris will create a lavish spread of upscale dinner favorites to help you ring in the new year. You'll sit back and relax while enjoying a bountiful three-course feast, including traditional black-eyed peas for good luck, hearty herbed pork roast, fresh ratatouille and creamy garlic hasselback potatoes. End your evening with a chocolate mousse cake or crème brûlée.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to accompany the menu, and may request pairing recommendations from the chef upon booking.

Chris was a real treat. He’s a humble and extremely knowledgeable teacher who, you can tell, really loves his craft. Yes, the food was amazing, but we really just enjoyed peppering him with questions around the “why” we used certain ingredients or prepped foods in certain ways. He knows much of the history and culture behind the recipes and how specific ingredients or preparations add to the success of the dish. This was a very enjoyable anniversary gift for my wife and I.

After discovering his passion for cooking as an Italian language instructor at UC Berkeley, Chef Chris went on to be the co-founder of a culinary event business, specializing in regional Italian cooking, and then worked as a chef teaching cooking classes for corporate groups, cultivating a 5-star rating. Chef Chris now works with a company providing walking food tours of Little Italy as well as teaching his lauded cooking classes.
