Cooking Class - French Breads

Discover exactly what makes French bread so undeniably delicious in this hands-on culinary experience.

In this interactive cooking class, Chef Stephanie will introduce you to the wonderful world of French breads. You will learn how to knead, loaf and bake the classic baguette, fougasse and epi.

Amazingly, these three traditional French breads are made from just four basic ingredients. You will discover how water, yeast, flour and salt come together to create the perfect baguette with a thin crackling crust and a tender interior as well as a salty, herby fougasse with a beautifully spongy, hole-ridden center, and the very impressive and sophisticated epi bread.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This French Breads baking class was my Mother’s Day gift to my mom and we had a great time with Chef Stephanie! :) Not only was it so cool to have a chef from the country of the cuisine, Chef Stephanie was very welcoming into her home, friendly, and encouraging during the class.
