Cooking Class - Tokyo-Style Ramen

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Shinya will guide you through each step of making top-notch and nutritious Tokyo-style ramen using fresh ingredients, and will teach essential techniques along the way.

Chef Shinya will show you how to make professional quality ramen soup from scratch. You'll also learn how to craft toppings such as ajitsuke tamago, seasoned steamed cabbage and homemade rayu. Chef Shinya will provide detailed step-by-step guidance: From choosing the right ingredients to the precise method of preparation to assembling the final bowl of ramen and how to expertly slurp the noodles!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Shinya’s Tokyo ramen class was awesome. He mixed fun hands-on practice with serious cooking skills, perfect for anyone wanting to really get ramen right. He’s extremely knowledgeable because he’s been doing this for years, and he made sure we got the basics down, like picking the best ingredients and being exact in how we cook. Chef Shinya is super friendly and loves ramen as much as teaching it, which made the whole experience fun. It’s not only a cooking lesson; it’s a dive into the culture behind Tokyo ramen, all led by an expert chef.
