This class will teach the basics of brewing the best staple stocks and sauces. Master the velvety smooth hollandaise sauce, a hearty mushroom-brown sauce that elevates any cut of meat, and concoct stocks that are the quiet heart of any soup.

Chef Julia is friendly, well spoken and very knowledgeable regarding the preparation of the menu, and communication of the steps involved. Food was delicious, flavorful and presentation was great.

When Chef Julia transplanted her Mexican roots to Dallas, she realized that being a chef was what she wanted to do with her life. After climbing the ranks, Chef Julia landed at the acclaimed La Duni in Dallas. Her menu creation relies on smart seasoning perfectly paired with fresh ingredients. Oh, and the heat. After quickly learning Dallas is very much into fiery Tex-Mex food, she spiced up her cooking accordingly.
