Chef Nick gives you a world class lesson on a sophisticated, grilled Italian feast. In this class you will learn how to prepare an appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert with inspiration from the Italian region of Tuscany, and everything will be done on the grill!
Start off with grilled portobello crostino as Chef Nick shows you how grilling on cherry wood can bring out immense flavor. Next, Chef Nick teaches you how to prepare a grilled antipasto. Grill some bell peppers, zucchini, and more that you will add to a bed of romaine lettuce with shaved provolone cheese. Your main course consists of Bistecca fiorentina. Chef Nick will guide you in grilling a three pound porterhouse steak to absolute perfection over 500 degree hot cherry wood ambers. Add some virgin olive oil, fresh pepper, lemon wedges and arugula to the already incredibly mouthwatering flavor. The class ends on a sweet note with a grilled dessert: Grilled pears with coffee sauce will be the sweet finale to a grilled and flavorsome night in Tuscany.
