Join Chef Julie as you head south of the border and enter into a new culinary realm. Discover how delectable Mexican cuisine can be, prepared in a new, exciting, and sophisticated manner. You will discover an entirely new world of Mexican cuisine that will make your palate very pleased.
You will get a first hand lesson on savory shrimp tacos as you prepare them with traditional Mexican ingredients such as jicama, avocado, red onion, lime, salsa verde, and an array of Mexican seasonings. Chef Julie will show you how to stuff your shrimp taco so that the presentation is almost as good as it tastes! Next, you will create mouthwatering queso fundido, or melted cheese, that is full of seasonings and so appetizing, that you will have to replenish your supply of blue tortilla chips. Have you ever tried agua de Jamaica? Chef Julie shows you how to mix up this refreshing Mexican hibiscus tea. Comamos!
