What You’ll Do

Give your kid a cooking series that blends savory cooking and baking projects.

Encourage young chefs to explore and experiment in this fun cooking series in Carlsbad (San Diego) designed for a full week of cooking and baking. Guided by Chef Michael or a resident chef, kids will prepare both sweet and savory dishes, from pancake dippers and pineapple whip to a decorated 6-inch cake with homemade sprinkles and berry filling. Each day builds new skills in mixing, baking and decorating. This cooking series in Carlsbad (San Diego) is a great way for kids to develop foundational kitchen skills while having fun and expressing their creativity.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This was a great class. 6 students learned 3 different pastry bakes. So many unknown baking lessons. Mary, the chef, was wonderful. She made us feel so comfortable and welcome. I would definitely take another class from her.

We cooked Tuscan garlic shrimp and cannoli from scratch. The chef's were great, everybody had fun, and the food turned out awesome.
