What You’ll Do

Enroll your teen in a cooking series designed around technique-driven learning.

Designed for ages 12 and up, this hands-on cooking series in Ann Arbor gives teens five focused days to master the core techniques behind great cooking. Guided by Chef Daniel or a professional chef instructor, students will work on mother sauces, emulsions, knife skills, searing, dumpling shaping and advanced baking and decorating. From eggs Benedict with hollandaise to hand-shaped dumplings and decorated cakes, this cooking series in Ann Arbor helps teens build confidence, precision and control in the kitchen.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

Steak, Gnocchi with squash, salad and vanilla dessert. Learning how to make gnocchi. My chef was very informative with how's and why's with patience and humor.

There was 12 people at the class and it was disorganized. There should of been more direction when making the food. Chef Matt was nice and the food was good. My favorite part was making the pasta.
