What You’ll Do

Plan a French-inspired couples night in this fun cooking class.

Enjoy a romantic evening of French cooking in this interactive cooking class in Ann Arbor. With guidance from Chef Daniel or a resident chef, you and your partner will make salmon en papillote, perfectly roasted herb potatoes and crêpes Suzette. You’ll practice timing, temperature control and dessert flambé techniques in a relaxed setting. This cooking class in Ann Arbor offers a hands-on date night experience centered on classic Parisian flavors.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

We made Pad Thai. Veggie stir fry and a coconut caramel custard. It was fun using ingredients I have never used before. The food was all delicious and the chef made sure everyone participated.

Pad Thai and shrimp. I learned how to make shrimp tempura, and that I can season rice in oil and herbs before it’s cooked. I would recommend this class to everyone. My suggestions for improvement are directed to non-food things. I would suggest that we at least introduce our names prior to starting and that a stool will be available for everyone to sit on to rest during the class and when it’s time to enjoy the meal.

My partner and I did the surf and turf class, and loved it. We are both decent in the kitchen, but usually just the basics. This class helped us learn tips and tricks that will help us elevate a lot of meals. The staff was very helpful and worked with the group so that we call got to experience a part of the food making process. Will definitely look for future classes!

This was my first time attending one of the cooking sessions, and I must say they did not disappoint. I was more than satisfied. The chef, Gabby, was awesome! She was incredibly welcoming, patient, and kind, which truly made for a great experience. Oh, and the food was delicious! My daughter and I both thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I would highly recommend it.

Really fun class! Aeisha is super! Only downside was ending felt rushed - no decorating the sugar cookie and we didn't make all the cookies advertised. Overall GREAT experience though. :)

Chef Aeisha was fantastic and she made cooking so fun for our group (especially my daughter)! I might even bring my son to the next one because even though he doesn’t have much interest in cooking, I feel like Chef Aeisha would even make it fun for him! I can’t say enough about this experience! We’ll be back :)

Fun date night! Our instructor explained and demonstrated everything in a way that was easy to replicate. Our class size was small too, so it felt cozy and more intimate for a date night with my husband.

Our class was led by Chef Marsha, not Chef Ethan like this says. Marsha was a very fun and passionate teacher and gave lots of great tips that I will take back to my own kitchen. It was great to hear from a pro about her essential kitchen tools and WHY they are so important to her. This event was a lot of fun, the food we prepared was extremely tasty, and my wife and I are already thinking about doing another class. Feedback - the address provided was for a strip mall with several stores. Including the name of the store where the class is hosted in the description/invite would be helpful

There was 12 people at the class and it was disorganized. There should of been more direction when making the food. Chef Matt was nice and the food was good. My favorite part was making the pasta.

What a great class. From the beginning with regard to explaining the different variations that we were going to make. Guiding us in the preparing of the ingredients and working with us in the cooking of the ingredients and how it all comes together . The end result the best getting to eat what we made. Delicious. We made ravioli with two different fillings - butternut squash with brown butter sage sauce and ricotta/mozzarella with pancetta tomato sauce. Loved the instruction part. I felt the chef really liked taking about herself. Never received the recipes emailed like she promised. Something they don’t tell you, the kitchen doesn’t have a take out license so we were unable to take home any leftovers

I drove 1-1/2 hr both ways to share experience with daughter. Chef never showed up and class was cancelled. And no notifications sent. How would you feel?
