Chef Jay is presenting a hands-on gnocchi class focused on teaching all the steps to making pillowy gnocchi with a delicious sauce.

This experience includes a short market tour of Pike Place where we explore the seasonal Northwest fare. The class culminates in the market's Atrium kitchen to prepare a three course meal with a heavy emphasis on the gnocchi teachings.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Food has always been a focus in Jay’s life. Growing up in the 80’s Jay was inspired by PBS cooking shows. At a young age, his Aunt Fumi taught him Japanese cuisine and was highly influential in starting his culinary adventure. After school, he sought out as much work experience as he could and quickly developed his own style.It was at Nine Zero that he was a private penthouse chef for former president Bill Clinton while he was there for the DNC.
