In this cooking class, Chef Gene will teach you how to create a luxurious feast for the senses. From the inventive Waldorf salad soufflés to the iconic Beef Wellington, each dish exudes elegance. Chef Gene sources top-notch ingredients for his classes, so you'll have the chance to learn to cook with ingredients like filet mignon, saffron, mussels, and more.

The class and meal will take place in Chef Gene's charming West Hollywood home. Chef Gene invites guests to bring their own wine or beer to the class to enjoy with the meal.

This is for sure an amazing experience. Chef Gene is very friendly and welcoming. His home is nicely decorated with a backyard that you can chill and relax in. Food is fresh and delicious. It's like dining at a 5 stars resort with a private chef! AWESOME!!!!

Chef Gene's beef wellington had me completely in awe. So tender, rich, and flavorful, it is absolute perfection. Chef Gene is incredibly skilled and lives in a stunning home with a beautiful view. After cooking with him, it'll be hard to go back to standard dinners.

Chef Gene's cooking will make you feel like a king (or queen), and he empowers you to pass that feeling on to your loved ones. He's a patient and skilled teacher, and uses only incredible ingredients. I can't think about his Beef Wellington without my salivary glands going into overdrive -- it's a perfect (and rich!) hit of meaty, tender filet, umami-rich mushroom, and crispy, flaky puff pastry. A must try.

I was raised on the East Coast and graduated from Wesleyan University. I took my first step in culinary education by traveling to Russia, where I was inspired to recreate the French-influenced cuisine of the Tzars. I immersed myself in French cooking, training at the Le Cordon Bleu. I then traveled to Italy, and under the tutelage of Chef Massimo Natale, focused on authentic Italian cuisine. I credit Julia Child as my culinary muse, and once had the great fortune to meet her.
