Chef Lisa's expertise and patience as a teacher exceeded my expectations! She effortlessly accommodated my request for gluten free/allergy free cooking with another students' request for mac and cheese. We cooked many more dishes than I thought would be possible in such a short time - Romesco sauce, polenta, pan seared shrimp and dijon chicken, pan sauce tips and tricks, amaretti cookies and...mac&cheese! She was exceedingly generous with her time and knowledge, and I left her kitchen feeling much more confident in my cooking skills.

We made a gluten free Mediterranean meal that was not only delicious but so easy to prepare. Our culinary skills are ready for our next challenge! Lisa was vibrant and fun and really educated us with simple science to explain why something works or won’t work. It was such a great night and we will definitely pick an event with Lisa again.

My friend and I attended class with Chef Lisa and had such a lovely time! We learned lots of new skills in the kitchen and made delicious savoury and sweet hand pies! The class was entirely gluten and dairy free and I would recommend to anyone, allergen-free or not!
