Take date night to the next level with Chef Kari and learn to make your own tostadas.
Grab your significant other and get ready for an evening of culinary instruction and delicious food. Chef Kari has years of professional cooking experience and will lead you through the process of making your own homemade tostadas.
After Chef Kari teaches you to make both baked and fried corn tostadas, you’ll learn how to make a variety of vegetarian toppings. From chile cauliflower confit to cumin black bean mash, cheesey elote corn spread and sweet potato sofrito hash, you’ll have a feast’s worth of Latin American goodness. Chef Kari will also show you to make a series of spreads including tomatillo guacamole, sweet and smokey chipotle sauce, blackened tomato salsa cruda, and a fresh crema to top it all off.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Kari is real down-home cooking in all the best ways: yummy, approachable, and delicious. She is a real chef--she's on top of everything in the kitchen and can teach anyone a whole lot. I really enjoyed my time with her and eating the dishes was the best part! Wonderful class, I'd take class after class from her any day.

My food is rich with approachable flavors that your family and friends will be impressed with but that they'll feel good eating.
