Couples Cooking Class - Your Own Private Mexico: Tamales 101

Spend an evening learning the art of making tamales

Make date night special with a private class from Chef Raquel. Her years of culinary experience will walk you through an evening of preparing your very own tamales from scratch, whether you choose to have her join you at your home or prefer to attend her venue.

The night will be all about traditional tamales, a Mesoamerican dish comprised of masa and then steamed inside of corn husks. While they sound simple, they are absolutely bursting with flavor and you’ll want to recreate them at home again and again. Chef Raquel will teach you how to make pork tamales, but she’s also happy to provide vegetarian options as well.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

How can I have lived in the U.S. for so long without knowing how to make tamales?! Chef Raquel gently taught me how to make these delicious Mexican treats and now I can’t wait to try out her tips at home.
