Cooking Class - Japanese Culinary Journey

What You’ll Do

Explore the multitude of flavors beyond the realm of sushi that make up Japanese cuisine.

Expand your culinary knowledge with this cooking class covering the diverse and unique flavors and techniques of Japanese cuisine. You'll form shrimp and pork gyoza by hand, deep fry delicate spring vegetable tempura and mix up a savory dashi dipping sauce. You'll grill chicken yakitori, marinated in a yuzu and orange glaze, over an open flame and bake up perfectly balanced black sesame and miso cookies, too.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

class was fun. but very light and fluffy. big disappointment is not having the correct containers to bring things home! you just taste while there and then leave everything

The class was well organized and moved at a good pace. I was not impressed with Chef Dan. He didn’t seem to enjoy what he was doing; he didn’t show us anything new or different in regards to cooking. He walked around with paper recipes and read the steps from them.
