Learn to prepare healthy and mouthwatering Sicilian cuisine with Chef Elaine
Take a culinary trip through Sicily and delight in all of the savory possibilities with the expert guidance of Chef Elaine. In addition to her extensive background as a culinary instructor, she conducts cooking workshops on a regular basis as well as corporate catering. Chef Elaine enjoys hosting and sharing her unique approach to creating healthy cuisine that also delights the palate.
Your journey begins with learning to prepare a savory eggplant caponata, followed by a delightful and zesty wild arugula salad with apple juice, candied orange zest, and pecans. Continue with your choice of delectable line-caught branzino or fresh bean-stuffed portobello. From there, you will learn to create a mouthwatering lemon risotto with asparagus or peas. Complete your culinary journey with a decadent lemon olive oil cake with mouthwatering seasonal berry coulis.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Elaine was a pleasure to cook with! She really taught us about how to pick the perfect fruit or veggie and gave us helpful tips on what vendors to use at the farmer's market. We crafted a delicious savory brunch together and we can't wait to re-make some of the delicacies we made with Chef Elaine. We look forward to cooking with her again in the near future.

My mother and I had a blast with Chef Elaine! She was very accomodating and outgoing. We loved preparing brunch in her kitchen - she's super knowledgable and has a ton of great stories and insights!

I am, in no particular order, a Personal Chef, Corporate Caterer, Workshop Teacher, Online Instructor, and Italian Grandmother. I offer glorious edible creations inspired by Old World tastes with a modern and healthy Southern Californian approach to food that I call 'New American'. I meet any dietary need thrown at me, and cook exclusively gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free.
