Cooking Class - Festive Halloween Feast

What You’ll Do

Gourmet cooking gets a spooky twist in this Halloween-themed lesson.

In this seasonal cooking class, you’ll learn tricks for elevating an Italian-inspired menu into a hauntingly delicious feast. An expert instructor teaches you to craft culinary creations that blend classic techniques and a touch of the macabre.

Sharpen your knives to prepare ingredients for silky pumpkin soup and reduce red wine into an indulgent sauce. Then, you'll stuff ink-black pasta with creamy butternut squash for a striking contrast. Finally, embrace the signature flavor of the season in a pumpkin spice parfait.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We were supposed to make chicken piccata. However, we were shown how to cook two pieces of lemon chicken tenderloins. But, this is not what we ate. We ate boiled chicken pieces over the fettuccine that we made. At least we think the chicken was boiled because it was served from a large pot of water.I don’t even think the sauce was the sauce that was demonstrated in the pan. We wish that we had had more hands-on experience with each food item and we really wish that we were given recipes. The chef and his assistant were well prepared but I think they could have benefited from more help.
