In this soulful cooking class, Chef Chrissy Marie draws upon her Southern roots to teach you how to whip up a luscious three course brunch utilizing classic Southern ingredients and preparations.
The class begins over a round of appetizers, lemonade, and iced tea. Chef Chrissy Marie then guides you through creating crisp and succulent buttermilk fried chicken served atop pillowy red velvet waffles with a pecan butter syrup. Next, she’ll divulge the secrets to crafting perfect macaroni and cheese and with greens to enjoy alongside the meal.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Class was super fun! we learned possibly the best collard greens recipe ever and practiced some basic kitchen skills. my friends and i had a private class to celebrate some birthdays Chef Chrissy did not disappoint! we had so much fun making collard greens, fried chicken, mac and cheese and red velvet waffles for lunch! there was also so much food leftover to take home! This was the last class in her old place, so we were a little discombobulated in getting on the things we needed to cook. Was super fun and would definitely recommend again! Note that the website says biscuits and gravy are on the menu but they're not. believe me, theres still more than enough food to go around.

Chef Chrissy was entertaining and informative and worked well with the different levels of experience that we all had. Everyone learned something new and loved the food we prepared.
