Put summer flavors at the top of your warm weather to-do list.

Prepare for backyard cookouts and summer soirées with this cooking class. Join a gourmet chef who will guide you as you prepare a flank steak and dice a zesty relish from corn and tomatillos. Learn how to pit and slice stone fruit to serve with arugula and goat cheese. Dessert is a fruit-filled crème fraîche on shortbread.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Her culinary education revealed a love and specialty for baking and pastry craft. Her life is filled with family, fur friends, music and sports. I would say that the description of the event were not clear. It did not mention that we would be divided into teams and wouldn’t get to do all the steps ourselves to learn better. The experience could have been better. Most of the steps were done by the chef and the rest had to be divided among 4-5 people. I have attended cooking classes before, and we get to do all steps ourselves which helps grasp and learn better. Other than that, chef Andrea was sweet. She answered everyone’s questions and was also open to teaching knife skills to some that were new.
