Tackle a patisserie rite of passage by making your own laminated dough from scratch.
Master the fundamentals of many iconic French bakes with this hands-on cooking class. Guided by a chef instructor, prepare your own laminated dough by meticulously layering flattened butter and dough to create a multi-layered block that will transform into light and flaky treats. You'll then assemble and fill a variety of treats using your dough.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Nice teacher but would have preferred to not share a station - 4 people meant we spent too much time waiting and watching. Wished we had come home with baked croissants since that was the main feature advertised. Otherwise we learned a lot and the cinnamon rolls and pain de chocolate were delicious.

Meet your chef
Chef Michael emigrated to the U.S. from Romania with his family at the age of seven. He followed his family's culinary interests and found joy in the kitchen, with his grandmother and his parents leading the way. After working in various restaurants through high school and beyond, he developed a taste for finer cuisine. His resume grew to include event catering as well as teaching cooking classes, for which Chef Michael holds an abiding passion.
