What You’ll Do

Master the art of laminated dough for a variety of classic French bakes.

This immersive cooking class focuses on a fundamental technique of French patisserie: preparing puff pastry. Laminated dough forms the base of beloved pastry treats from croissants to mille-feuille. Your chef instructor will walk you through the process step-by-step to create the perfect puff pastry for a selection of sweet and savory delights.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
