Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Exciting Recipes - Centennial

What You’ll Do

Teens embark on a culinary journey while advancing their cooking confidence in this summer series.

Young chefs embark on a culinary adventure during this immersive five-day cooking series! The engaging summer cooking classes are crafted for ages 12+, empowering teenagers to unlock their culinary potential and build confidence. Led by a chef instructor, participants will tackle intricate menus and culinary traditions, mastering advanced cooking and baking techniques. They will cap off the experience with a mystery challenge where budding chefs whip up dishes using surprise ingredients. Each student will receive printed recipes, a graduation certificate, and culinary skills they'll use again and again.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Chef Anne was amazing. She made making croissants fun and exciting! She had fun stories and gave us LOTS of information regarding cooking and especially bread. I liked the way she taught the class.

Chef was NOT Christopher. Ingredients on menu were not available as advertised (yet they were in available in local store). This should’ve been disclosed the day before so we could reschedule. Chef was not very personable and did not seem to know the menu well. No chairs for sitting if needed and counter was too high (does not accommodate for disabilities under ADA).
