Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Gourmet Baking
Explore the art of baking with advanced flavors and techniques with this teen baking class.
Embark on a culinary adventure with a five-day cooking series tailored for teens aged 12 and above. Delight your aspiring food enthusiast with a hands-on experience where they will enhance their kitchen skills and boost their confidence through challenging recipes and advanced baking techniques. Under the guidance of a skilled chef instructor, participants will master food preparation techniques and safety practices. By the end of the week, students depart with a printed menu, graduation certificate and invaluable skills for a lifetime of culinary enjoyment from these summer cooking classes.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

The class was easy to follow and the food was delicious! Megan did a great job leading us through each step and the pace was perfect — not too fast and not too slow, happy to answer questions and explain things so we knew not just what to do, but why we were doing it. Thank you so much for the experience!

The food was good. The class was meh. I really wish there were those large mirrors so that we could see the chef demonstrating what to do; instead she just told us to chop the veggies and went around helping individual people as needed. She would demonstrate something using one couple's ingredients but those across the room couldn't really see what she was doing. It was fun, but I probably wouldn't do it again. Also she said we would get the recipes via email and we never did.
