Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Global Goodness
Three exciting days in the kitchen learning the culinary traditions of cultures around the world.
With this 5-day cooking series focused on international cuisine, young chefs ages 12 and up can enjoy a selection of summer cooking classes exploring the delicious diversity of dining around the world. An expert chef leads three distinctive courses sharing authentic methods for intriguing regional dishes, specialties like handmade pasta, chicken schnitzel and arroz con pollo. The final course includes a mystery recipe challenge that tests their new abilities! Participants receive a printed menu and a certificate of completion.
Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

I thought the class was fine. The food we cooked was tasty but it did seem like we were just putting ingredients together in a rushed format. I thought there should have been more of an opportunity to make the raviolis, everything seemed rushed and a bit hectic. Also I wish we could have had Togo boxes but all we got was a ziplock and there was so much food waste. Also, we did not get the recipes and thought that would have been nice. Overall the instructor was swift but definitely seemed a bit like she was racing against the clock to get through everything.

Spicy in the best of ways! Very quick-witted and you can tell she has a lot of experience. It was a fun interactive group experience for our work team. Will definitely be back to get yelled at some more.
