Cooking Class - African Fusion

Learn how to prepare a delicious African meal with Chef Afia!

In this African fusion cooking class Chef Afia will walk you through creating a delicious and interesting meal, with dishes that go beyond the traditional African style of cooking. Truly African Fusion at its best! The chef will begin the class with sautéed plantains baked in coconut oil, followed by a light spinach, garlic, red onion and lemon vinaigrette. You will also learn how to make your own flavorful tropic mango mint salsa with an extra kick.

For the main entrée you will learn how to make tasty African-style shrimp kabobs with seasonal vegetables. Dessert will be a refreshing serving of fresh fruit to finish the meal off light and right. This class will introduce you to an interesting and delicious cuisine that you will then be able to make for yourself!
