If you love Southern comfort food, this is the cooking class for you! Led by the talented Chef Nyjal, you'll whip up a festive feast of Southern staples in a fun interactive environment that's as informative as it is delicious. The menu is packed with Southern holiday favorites, like a Thanksgiving dressing made with ground turkey, cream-style cornbread, decadent candied yams and a rich and creamy classic mac & cheese. Just make sure to leave room for dessert, because you won't want to miss out on the seasonal fruit cobbler.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Thanksgiving Dressing

With ground turkey, peppers, onions, fresh herbs and bread crumbs

Grandma's Mac & Cheese

With cream, cheddar cheese, butter and egg

Cream-Styled Cornbread

With creamed corn, milk, eggs and cornmeal

Auntie's Candied Yams

With honey, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla extract and marshmallows

We had such a great experience with Chef Nyjal! We learned a lot of different skills during the class that we will be able to use daily when cooking. The menu was great and the food came out delicious.

Our experience with Chef Nyjal was terrific. He came prepared with all the necessary ingredients. He was patient and clear in his instructions. Everything we made (from the eclairs to the bananas foster) was delicious. It was an excellent activity for the family to do together. We enjoyed it immensely. I do recommend him to anyone interested.

I am not a cook. Chef Nyjal kept things simple and gave great advice in regard to prep and purchase of ingredients. My guest and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience will look to do additional classes in the future.
