During this interactive hands-on cooking class, Chef Joy will guide you step-by-step through preparing some of the most classic dishes from France using time-honored culinary techniques.
Begin by creating a delicate baked bread puff starter with gouda and nutmeg. For the main course, you'll learn how to expertly sear filet mignon and handcraft a creamy, peppery, Cognac-infused sauce to top it with. For sides, you'll roast spiced carrots and prepare spinach with cream, then your menu takes a sweet turn as you bake a soufflé with cocoa.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
