Cooking Class - Decorating Cookies With Royal Icing

Creatively express yourself by designing homemade sugar cookies with royal icing techniques.

Chef Jennifer will guide you through this exciting cookie-decorating class, where you will bake your own cookie dough from a variety of flavors and create homemade cookie icing.

First, you'll choose two cookie flavors — spice, chocolate, vanilla or almond. After shaping your cookies with cutters and baking them, Chef Jennifer will provide design templates and will teach you how to make three types of royal icing in different consistencies using only egg whites, powdered sugar and food coloring. Work with a partner as you design and decorate a dozen cookies each!

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
