Sushi classics minus the seafood are on the menu in this exciting plant-forward lesson.

Vegetables take center stage in the sushi dishes you'll create in Chef Lillo's hands-on cooking class. He'll share recipes for a savory array of classic combinations, plus a few fun extras to complete the menu.

Learn how to make fool-proof sushi rice before rolling a diablo roll, featuring spicy tofu and smoky chipotle aioli. Transform plantains and avocado into an intriguing crispy sushi cake and learn how to assemble a poke bowl. Finish up with dessert sushi with caramelized bananas and topped with chocolate sauce.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Our experience with Chef Lillo was INCREDIBLE. He is wonderfully personable, very talented, and a fantastic teacher. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was so much fun to be in the kitchen with the chef, seeing how the (vegan) sausage gets made. The chef is also very knowledgable about the vegan scene in the area and was happy to provide us with all sorts of recommendations. Our night was A++, and I would recommend this experience to anyone (vegan or not)!
