Cooking Class - Traditional Flavors of Oaxaca
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Ashley, a passion for cooking, chocolate and the rich flavors of Oaxaca, Mexico come to life. This is an experience that showcases the versatility of Mexican chocolate and its origins.
First, Chef Ashley will teach you how to make blue corn tortillas and how to prepare the perfect roasted tomatillo salsa. After making your handmade mole sauce with single-origin Mexican chocolate, you will spatchcock a tender and moist whole roasted Oaxacan-style chicken sided by seasonal vegetables. For dessert, roll chocolate with nuts and fruit for homemade truffles.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
