Cooking Class - A Taste of Japanese Favorites
Learn how to make classic Japanese dishes in this engaging cooking class with Chef Derrick. You will craft and get a taste of five flavorful Japanese favorites.
First, Chef Derrick will guide you in making a hearty miso soup featuring tender sweet potatoes, tofu and wakame seaweed. The two main courses include savory beef teriyaki over Japanese fried rice and crispy shrimp and vegetable tempura fried to crunchy perfection and served with a traditional dipping sauce. Finish with a creamy and bouncy coffee jelly for dessert.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
