Chef Parsati showcases international spices and techniques to create a vibrant vegan menu.

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Parsati teaches you how to create healthy, plant-based food enhanced with fragrant spices and flavorful dips and spreads. Draw inspiration from India and the Mediterranean to transform vegan ingredients into innovative, aromatic dishes.

Begin with pan-fried tofu falafel with a tangy dip. Next, you will prepare rice and vegetable cakes that are crispy on the outside and soft in the center served with spicy chutney. Colorful Mediterranean-style vegetable flatbreads are the centerpiece of the meal followed by dark chocolate coconut fudge for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Parsati was a wonderful instructor and the class exceeded our expectations! I purchased the class as a gift for my wife for Christmas and needed to move the date from our original booking; Chef Parsati was able to accommodate and a a help arrange a fabulous environment that was a great first experience for anyone who is just learning to cook. The menu was provided ahead of time so we knew what the ingredients were and also got to bring along a bottle of wine to enjoy for the meal as well(I recommend Ubering or rideshare if you choose to bring wine or beer for your trip). Chef Parasari provided us with aprons and was a great instructor throughout the course of the cooking class; she helped walk us through how to prep and prepare the ingredients and answered all of my wife's questions about how to best cook each dish. All of the dishes that we prepared tasted amazing (if I had to pick a favorite, mine was the pizza we prepared that had a naan base that was the very delicious). The experience was definitely worth the price and I highly recommended this cooking class as a great date night or work outing . Chef Parasati also brought an awesome energy and creativity to the experience and helped introduce some new ingredients that expanded our tasting palettes and ideas for cooking in the future. I highly recommend booking Chef Parasati's class if you are a vegan; the dishes are carefully crafted to fill you up and provide great tasting delicacies at the same time. The class is also a great chance to have a new experience to meet chef's who share their knowledge and passion for cooking great food and are there to make sure you have a time as well!

Had a lovely time and learned some great skills. Chef Parsati was very thoughtful and tailored the class to suit everyone’s needs. She focused on techniques that can be easily applied at home, and not so specific to the dishes we cook. She was very nice and welcoming. Excited to have more dishes to spice up weeknight dinners!
