Bring home the bold flavors of a Louisiana bayou with this menu by Chef Joss.
In this interactive cooking class, the chef will teach you how to build depth of flavor with the use of rich ingredients and aromatic spices in classic Cajun and Creole dishes. Learn cooking techniques for preparing seafood, stock and sauces that are the base of this unique cuisine.
Begin by crafting tender crab cakes and a creamy Cajun remoulade, followed by preparing an iconic shrimp étouffée to serve with rice while you explore the signature flavors and techniques of some of New Orleans' most popular dishes. For dessert, fire up a creamy bananas foster cheesecake.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Joss was awesome. She provided all of the food and ingredients. The session was fun and the dumplings were so easy to make with her guidance! We'll definitely be reaching out to her again for future classes.
Chef Joss graduated from DeSales University and attended NCC’s culinary program. She’s used her culinary talents to own and operate her own catering business, teach cooking classes, and work as a food stylist for popular television programs. She also specializes in ethnic and fusion cuisines, and she truly delights in teaching the art of cooking to aspiring chefs of all ages.
