Join Chef Maria and learn how to cook up a simple, yet impressive Italian meal.

No matter the occasion, you can never, ever go wrong preparing and serving Italian food. During this hands-on cooking class, Chef Maria will show you just how easy it is to prepare a gourmet Italian meal that will impress guests time and time again.

You'll focus your energy on crafting a rich and multi-dimensional caramelized-pear chicken risotto main entrée sided by perfectly sautéed asparagus with Parmesan. You'll also learn the secrets to assembling a classic Italian salad as well as how to make a crowd-pleasing traditional Italian dessert, panna cotta.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Classic Italian Salad

With salami, tomatoes, chickpeas, romaine, olives, peppers and mozzarella

Chicken Risotto and Caramelized Pears

With arborio rice, Parmesan, sugar and red wine

Sautéed Asparagus

With Parmesan cheese

Panna Cotta

With milk, sugar, gelatin, whipped cream and vanilla extract

The Classic Italian cooking class with Chef Maria was a fun experience! We learned alot and the food was delicious. Highly recommended for a special date night or small group of friends in your home.

Maria is amazing, very professional and is a nice teacher. We had the Taste of the Greek Islands and she explained every step how to make it. I’m very glad that I had her teaching us. I’ll do this again, the dinner was fantastic

What a delightful evening! Chef Maria was warm and enjoyable, walking us through the preparation and cooking of an AMAZING greek meal (the moussaka was unbelievable). You can plainly see the passion in her craft, and taste her love of all things food in her meals. Maria is an amazong chef and and even more amazing person!

Chef Maria is an executive chef native to Bolivia. She has been a culinary business owner who is experienced in private events and catering. She has worked in Spain as well and is exceptional in Mediterranean cuisine.
