Cooking Class - A Culinary Journey to Peru
The cuisine of Peru is a delightful fusion of many influences from Europe, Africa and East Asia mixed with a rich array of indigenous ingredients. Chef Vivian and Michi will show you how to craft four dishes from this region from scratch.
Begin your culinary journey with huancaína from the Andes, a classic Peruvian cheese sauce. Next, you'll craft a refreshing shrimp ceviche from the coast with lime and spices, followed by Peru's most popular dish: Beef tenderloin stir-fried with spices, red onion and tomatoes. For dessert, you'll make alfajores with dulce de leche from scratch.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
