Embark on an inspiring journey to discover the carefully crafted components of unforgettable sushi. In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn how to prepare and execute the basic elements of your favorite sushi rolls.
From perfectly prepared rice to tangy rice vinegar to spicy mayonnaise, Chef Ben will show you how to make each ingredient from scratch and share the secrets of his masterful rolling techniques. Classic California and Philadelphia rolls appear alongside a spicy kani salad and savory-sweet peanut avocado roll, finished with a delectable brown sugar pudding.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ben was so professional and funny! He answered all of our questions and helped so much if we got stuck on a technique. By the end we felt like chefs ourselves!

Chef Ben’s passion for sushi began when he was only 16 years old. While still in high school, he became a sushi chef, and in 2013, he moved to NYC to continue sharpening his skills and mastering the art of Japanese cuisine. By 24, he became the youngest head chef in the restaurant where he worked and helped his family open their own restaurant. Now, Chef Ben looks forward to introducing others to sushi in a creative manner.
