What You’ll Do

Pair succulent lamb with traditional flavors of India in this hands-on class.

Chef Ayesha will guide you through different preparations of tender lamb in this four-course cooking class. You will become adept at utilizing authentic spices and herbs common in Indian cuisine to create aromatic, richly flavored dishes.

First, blend fragrant ingredients with minced lamb into a savory kebab starter, then build a spicy, creamy sauce for braised lamb rogan josh, which is paired with cumin-scented basmati rice. Master the techniques of cooking tender okra for a tangy bhindi masala, and finish with a smooth pudding cooked with almonds and saffron.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

The class was fabulous!!! She didn’t waste time having us prep & chop. She got right into cooking the various dishes. Having the printed recipes was helpful & allowed us to write additional notes. She stresses organic and fresh everything, which is important to me. Her camera over stove allowed us to watch what was going on in the pan as she prepared each dish. At the end we all sat in a beautiful outdoor setting & ate the meal while listening to more tips and stories about India. She had various items for sale, like homemade ghee & a bag of all the spices measured out for each dish we prepared. Perfect in every way!
