Learn how to properly roll sushi, make sushi rice and much more with Chef Ricky.

You'll learn how to make three types of vegan, gluten-free sushi in this sushi-making class with Chef Ricky. Each roll features unique ingredients for a special tasting experience.

First, you'll prepare a vegan "tuna" tataki featuring watermelon and sweet soy glaze. After cooking the perfect sticky sushi rice, you'll prepare fillings for each sushi roll, including jackfruit, avocado, eggplant and more, and Chef Ricky will show you professional techniques to properly roll sushi. Finally, you'll prepare (then enjoy!) traditional mango sticky rice.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a fantastic time in Chef Ricky’s Omakase class. Chef Ricky is extremely knowledgeable, kind and an excellent teacher. The entire menu he prepared was so good that we had a hard time deciding what our favorite dish was! Not only was the hands on experience really fun, we also really enjoyed learning some history about Japanese cooking and cuisine. We highly recommend taking one of his classes.
