Cooking Class - Chinese Cuisine for the Win

Explore the textures and flavors of traditional Chinese cuisine.

Learn how to forgo the takeout menu with this cooking class featuring the techniques and authentic ingredients of Chinese cuisine. A gourmet chef leads these sessions while explaining the steps needed to stir-fry, steam and slice a variety of vegetables, lean meats and fruits into delicious recipes.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

The class was definitely fun! It was a little different than I anticipated - for example there were four people to a station so my boyfriend and I shared everything with another couple - this was totally fine but just different! I was a little disappointed that the dough took too long to make so it was already pre-made. The class itself was closer to 2 hours and was not as hands on as I hoped. But still good experience and it was a beginner class so it makes sense!

We had a wonderful morning with Chef Kate learning to make croissants! She was an amazing instructor clearly explaing every step and had a sense of humor when we had mishaps lol! I learned so much about butter, yeast and the entire process. Then we each received 2 savory and 2 chocolate croissants to take home. Highly recommend you jump in and learn about the French art of the croissant!

Her work has taken her from hotels to food trucks to jobs on the supply side of business. She's even spent time teaching cooking to high school students.
