Get ready to master traditional Creole cooking and the art of magnifying flavors through layering.

In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Theo, you will learn how to prepare an authentic four-course Creole menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored Creole cooking techniques.

Chef Theo will begin by teaching you how to create a colorful heirloom tomato salad drizzled with a homemade balsamic reduction. Then, you will learn how to build layers of flavor in a traditional Louisiana Creole gumbo studded with chicken, sausage, shrimp and crab. Lastly, you'll end with homemade blondies finished with a brown sugar glaze for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Had a great experience with Theo. Food was great and Theo was very knowledgeable about cooking techniques. My girlfriend and I would consider taking another class from him.

Unfortunately, my husband and I had an unsatisfactory experience. This cooking class was at Theo’s place of residence that was not an atmosphere conducive for a professional cooking class. Additionally, no preparation was completed for the cooking class, and I'm not sure if Theo is an actual chef. We were so disappointed and left the apartment shortly after arriving, as we felt scammed. This was not an authentic cooking class experience, and we would like a full refund immediately. This was our 11th wedding anniversary celebration and an extremely disappointing one. We will never work with Cozymeal again.

This was an amazing experience for my friends and I! Theodore was very professional, respectful, kind and entertaining. He had a nice setup for dinner and allowed for my friends to truly engage in conversation freely and if was asked questions was very informative with his answers. One of the best experiences I had my entire trip!
