Cooking Class - Traditional Creole Cooking
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Theo, you will learn how to prepare an authentic four-course Creole menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored Creole cooking techniques.
Chef Theo will begin by teaching you how to create a colorful heirloom tomato salad drizzled with a homemade balsamic reduction. Then, you will learn how to build layers of flavor in a traditional Louisiana Creole gumbo studded with chicken, sausage, shrimp and crab. Lastly, you'll end with homemade blondies finished with a brown sugar glaze for dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
