Master the art of preparing classic Italian dishes while elevating your cooking skills.

In this hands-on class with Chef Vanessa, you'll learn how to cook a traditional three-course Italian meal using high-quality ingredients and professional cooking techniques.

Begin the class by putting a spin on a classic risotto by handcrafting risotto cakes with cannellini beans, Parmesan cheese and a touch of lemon zest. Next, you'll make homemade linguine pasta served with sautéed shrimp and sun-dried tomato pesto. Finally, Chef Vanessa will teach you how to prepare homemade pizzelle cookies for dessert — an iconic Italian favorite!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Our experience with Vanessa was amazing! The food was delicious and we were able to take the recipes and extras home with us. Not only did we learn a lot, she was extremely accommodating for us - she altered the recipes & ingredients to work around our allergies and dietary needs.

Chef Vanessa was great! She is incredibly knowledgable and generous with sharing that knowledge. She did a great job guiding us through the class while making everything fun! She was well prepared with all the ingredients and her place was clean and comfortable. Would take another one of her classes!

After graduating from culinary school, Chef Vanessa left her corporate accounting career and began a new career as a chef instructor. Since then, she has assumed roles teaching inner-city teens, parents, seniors and cafeteria staff across Massachusetts with a focus of healthy cooking on a budget. Her other past roles included cooking demos for the general public at the Boston Public Market.
