Cooking Class - Classic Cuban Steak Dinner

Prepare a three-course Cuban dinner centered around a classic entrée: Breaded steak.

In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Jennie, you'll prepare a traditional meal straight from Cuba with Cuban-style breaded steak as the featured dish.

Chef Jennie will begin class by teaching you how to make fried yucca with a garlic dipping sauce. Next, you'll prepare breaded steak, which is marinated in a tangy sauce and lightly breaded with cracker crumbs before sautéing, and served with rice, beans and fried plantains. End the class with a lesson on the perfect tres leches cake with evaporated milk, condensed milk and heavy cream.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

All I can say is AMAZING!!!! I booked a traditional Cuban cuisine private dinner for my birthday with chef Jennie. I flew all the way to LA from TN for this experience, and it was well worth it. Chef Jennie made my guest and I feel welcomed from the time we approached her location until we left. There was plenty of good food, good vibes, good drinks, and music. I will definitely be booking again soon. Thanks again ?

I had so much fun with Chef Jennie! She has a great deal of knowledge about Cuban cuisine and techniques, and her food is very authentic. She is really fun to work with and very outgoing. I look forward to learning more about Cuban cooking in the future with her.

Chef Jennie most recently served as the executive chef at an eating disorder treatment center, which immensely grew her passion for helping others through food. She now owns her own business, and hosts and teaches interactive cooking experiences.
