Join Chef Kelly for a truly authentic epicurean adventure as you explore four vibrant and classic Puerto Rican recipes using high-quality ingredients and learning smart cooking techniques along the way.
First, you'll prepare mofongo con camarones a la criolla with shrimp, green plantains, sofrito and tomato sauce, and crispy tostones with mojo sauce — perfect for snacking. Then, you'll make arroz con gandules y pernil — or Puerto Rican rice with pigeon peas and pork — and end class with a light tembleque, a coconut pudding spiced with cinnamon.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
