Cooking Class - The Art of Momo Dumplings

Join Chef Maggie for the unique opportunity to prepare a traditional Nepalese dumpling.

In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Maggie will teach you how to prepare one of Nepal’s most popular dishes — momo dumplings — using smart culinary techniques.

Traditionally filled with meat or vegetables, Chef Maggie will teach you how to prepare three styles of Momo: Steamed with spinach, cabbage and carrots; fried with chicken, garlic and onions; and, for dessert, filled with a chocolate ganache. You'll also cook a comforting lentil soup spiced with turmeric and an herb green sauce with cilantro and chili to pair with your savory dumplings.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

the momo class was great, Chef Maggie was prepared and walked us through creating the momo dough, the fillings, many different ways of folding the momo and cooking them. We took home the extra fillings and made momos at home later in the week. I fully recommend this class and based on other reviews, all of Chef maggie's classes
