Explore the Lowcountry regions of the South with Chef Damon as your culinary guide.
Dive into learning how to cook up an authentic Southern meal as Chef Damon teaches you all about the influences culture has had on cuisine in the Lowcountry while using high-quality ingredients, and both classic and modern cooking techniques.
Begin the hands-on class by making a flavorful crab soup, and a salad straight out of Kentucky brimming with blue cheese, cornbread croutons and candied pecans. Next, you'll learn how to brew an incredible bouillabaisse with fresh fish, shellfish, andouille and more, and whip up an old-fashioned strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Damon was great. He was thorough on the processes and cooking styles, and his Coconut Shrimp was very delicious, I wanted seconds when I was done.

Chef Damon is a personable and experienced epicurean with extensive executive chef experience as well as teaching experience as a cooking instructor. Chef Damon is classically French trained, holds two culinary degrees, has earned four professional competition medals from the American Culinary Federation, has opened several restaurants, and is the owner of his own catering business known for following eco-friendly practices.
