Cooking Class - Brain Food to Boost Your Mood

Learn how to prepare brain food to boost your mood in this interactive culinary experience.

In this hands-on class with Chef Parsati, you will learn how to prepare a mood-boosting three-course menu using easy-to-master cooking techniques, and fresh ingredients known for their ability to help decrease stress and anxiety levels.

Some of the recipes and dishes you can look forward to adding to your culinary repertoire in this class include a mint- and cilantro-infused avocado dip, a braised salmon steak seasoned with fennel and caraway seeds, a hearty kale salad studded with roasted walnuts and apricots, and a decadent dark chocolate almond fudge for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Parsati was very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and scheduling (and rescheduling) of the class. The class was conducted in her home. We had a healthy menu with salmon steak, kale salad, and flourless fudge. She taught us how to substitute items and about the health benefits of a lot of ingredients. The food we made was so good! thank you!

What a great experience. We loved our time at Chef Parsati's home and learned a lot about how to create a wonderful marinade for salmon and a vinegraitte for a kale salad. The blend of the spices were amazing. Thank you Chef Parsati.

What a blast! Chef Parsati is experienced and knowledgeable in so many cuisines. We learned so much in our session with her. We were gifted a snack before we started, got to hear about her amazing background, and enjoyed complimentary juice and tea during our stay. She explained every step and included us in every task. What a wonderful way to spend our anniversary, thank you for hosting us in your beautiful kitchen and thank you for sharing you recipe with us and your precious knowledge on how and why food can be good and good for you!
