Asian fusion blends many ancient culinary traditions of the East with modern sensibilities, like vegetarianism. In this cooking class, Chef Aleck will teach you exactly how to do that while incorporating classic ingredients with smart cooking techniques.
First, you'll learn how to pickle a variety of fresh vegetables into kimchi, including daikon radishes. You'll also create vegetarian maki and sushi using tofu, eggplant, tomato and yellow squash, pan fry the perfect pad see ew with mushrooms and coconut aminos, and whip up sweet sticky rice with strawberries, mango and pineapple.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
