Cooking Class - Japanese Dumplings and More
In this class, Chef Shinya will guide you through a hands-on tutorial on making a handful of favorite Japanese dishes, with dumplings as the star of the show.
Discover how to make traditional Japanese gyoza dumplings completely from scratch, including whipping up the savory fillings such as pork and shrimp and wrapping them up in the thin dough before pan-frying to crispy perfection. You will also prepare accompanying dipping sauces, a savory miso soup with seasonal vegetables and field greens and cabbage salad with onion-ponzu dressing.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
