Chef Stephan demonstrates the methods for making flavorful sauces used in Chinese cooking.
Sauces can make or break a meal, and Asian cuisine is no exception. Basic sauces are the backbone of Chinese home cooking and Chef Stephan will show you how to properly prepare and use them.
Choose between beef, chicken, pork or tofu then cook and pair it with sweet and sticky brown sugar-orange sauce accompanied by bok choy in brown sauce with baby corn and water chestnuts, or fluffy white rice. Wrap up your hands-on meal with homemade lychee ice cream.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Stephan's cooking was probably one of the best meals I've tasted in a long time. It's hard to find really good, fresh food in South Florida and this guy know what he's doing. His food, makes you feel at home. Everything from the kitchen to the backyard was a pleasure to be in. Definitely a treat to be there. Thank you.

With more than 20 years in the food service industry, Chef Stephan has amassed extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, from tending bar and waiting tables to catering private parties to managing a lucrative Times Square restaurant. He even auditioned for "Hell’s Kitchen" Season 4, and made it into the top 40 chefs. Chef Stephan has traveled around the world to 16 different countries, studying their cultures, culinary specialties and farming practices.
