Cooking Class - Seasonal Surf and Turf Fare
In this hands-on class with Chef Chris, you will learn how to prepare a four-course surf and turf menu using fresh, in-season ingredients and simple cooking techniques that yield wonderfully complex flavor profiles.
After beginning with a potato and leek soup and refreshing salad, you will learn how to prepare a perfectly cooked steak with succulent shrimp accompanied by a punchy and sweet tomato medley tossed in high-quality olive oil and fresh herbs. Lastly, you'll end with a zingy peach and nectarine shortcake with fresh whipped cream and homemade fruit sauce.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
